YouTube
With YouTube modules in Make, you can upload and watch for videos.
To use the YouTube app, you must have a Google account. You can create a Google account within YouTube by going to youtube.com and clicking Sign in in the top-right corner, then Create Account.
Refer to the YouTube API documentation for a list of available endpoints.
Connect YouTube to Make
To establish the connection:
Log in to your Make account, add a YouTube module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.
Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
Review YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy and select Yes to verify that you understand and accept the terms of both.
Optional: Click Show advanced settings and enter your custom app client credentials. For more information, refer to the Connecting to Google services using custom OAuth client documentation.
Use the following information:
Enable API and services
Search for and enable the YouTube Data API v3.
Redirect URI
Enter the following redirect URI:
https://www.make.com/oauth/cb/youtube
.Scopes
Search for and select:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload
,https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube
.Click Sign in with Google.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your scenario and add more YouTube modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.
