ClickSend SMS

With ClickSend SMS modules in Make, you can manage the contacts, SMS, MMS, voice messages, emails, posts, and files in your ClickSend account.

To use the ClickSend SMS modules, you must have a ClickSend account. You can create an account at clicksend.com.

Refer to the ClickSend API documentation for a list of available endpoints.

Connect ClickSend SMS to Make

To establish the connection, you must:

  1. Obtain your API key in ClickSend.

  2. Establish the connection in Make.

Obtain your API key in ClickSend

To obtain your API key from your ClickSend account:

  1. Log in to your ClickSend account.

  2. In the top-right corner, click the key icon to view your API Credentials.

  3. Copy the API key value shown and store it in a safe place.

You will use this value in the API key field in Make.

Establish the connection with ClickSend SMS in Make

To establish the connection in Make:

  1. Log in to your Make account, add a ClickcSend SMS module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.

  2. Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.

  3. In the Username field, enter your ClickSend username.

  4. In the API Key field, enter the API key copied above.

  5. Click Save.

  6. If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.

    You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your scenario and add more ClickSend SMS modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.

    Note: To use this module, it is necessary to have 1) unread messages in your ClickSend SMS account and 2) a rule set up with a POLL action in your ClickSend Messaging settings.
