Freshdesk
With Freshdesk modules in Make, you can manage the events, tickets, conversations, contacts, companies, forums, and agents in your Freshdesk account.
To use the Freshdesk modules, you must have a Freshdesk account. You can create an account at freshdesk.com.
Refer to the Freshdesk API documentation for a list of available endpoints.
Connect Freshdesk to Make
To establish the connection, you must:
Obtain your API key in Freshdesk
To obtain your API key from your Freshdesk account:
Log in to your Freshdesk account.
In the upper-right corner, click on your profile picture and select Profile Settings.
In the right sidebar, click the View API key button.
Copy the API key value shown and store it in a safe place.
You will use this value in the API key field in Make.

Establish the connection with Freshdesk in Make
To establish the connection in Make:
Log in to your Make account, add a Frsehdesk module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.
Note: If you add a module with an
instant
tag, click Create a webhook, then Create a connection.Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
In the API Key field, enter the API key copied above.
In the Company name field, enter your domain name. If your Freshdesk URL is
https://abc.freshdesk.com
then enter abc here.Click Save.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your scenario and add more Freshdesk modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.
Set up Freshdesk Webhooks
This app uses webhooks to trigger a scenario when an event occurs instantly. All webhook modules have an instant
tag next to their name.
To set up a webhook, follow these steps:
Add an Freshdesk
instant
module to your scenario and click Create a webhook.Optional: Enter a name for the webhook in the Webhook name field.
Select the corresponding connection for the webhook in the Connection field.
Click Save > Copy address to clipboard.
Log in to your Freshdesk account.
Follow the directions as outlined in the Freshdesk Using Webhooks in Automation documentation.
Freshdesk will now send data to Make through the webhook when the selected event occurs.
